The calculator

The number you type runs in your browser. It is not sent anywhere unless you join the waitlist, in which case it is saved with your email so we can understand who is signing up.

The waitlist

When you join we store your email, the step number and outcome you had selected, whether you said you wear a watch, the campaign parameters in the link you arrived from, your country (from the request, not GPS), and your browser's user-agent string. We use this to invite you to the beta, to send at most a few product updates, and to see which messages bring people here. Data is stored with Neon (Postgres) on servers in the EU or US, and the site runs on Vercel. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Measurement

We use Plausible, a cookieless analytics service, on every visit. If you arrived from an ad we may also load Meta's pixel to measure that ad — in the EU, UK and Switzerland only after you agree in the bar at the bottom of the page. Declining changes nothing about the site.

The app

The iOS app is in development. It will read step counts from Apple Health on your phone and keep them there. It will not use health data for advertising, share it with third parties for their purposes, or store it in iCloud. A full policy ships with the app.
